È tempo di shopping anche per Sybase. Sybase acquisterà Aleri, azienda specializzata in complex event processing (Cep), tecnologia usata a Wall Street. Aleri ha comprato Coral8 nel marzo 2009.
Con questa mossa Sybase integrerà il suo database IQ analytic con la tecnologia di analisi in tempo reale.
Sybase, acquisendo Aleri, sfida Progress Apama nei capital market e TIBCO in altri mercati.
